There’s little to the newly opened official website, but the press release announcing the development has a bit more information about what potential players can expect. Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue Saga will be a strategy game for iOS and Android. It’ll be free-to-play, and supported by in-app purchases, and features characters, locations, and warships from the LOGH fiction. 


They’ll appear as they do in the 2018 Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These anime. The latest adaptation of the original story, Die Neue These carries a German subtitle that means “A New Thesis”, referring to its status as a “reboot” with a different approach than the OVA series.


Players will take on the role of a space naval commander and take part in the galactic war that defines the LOGH setting. Their goal will be to unite the galaxy through conquest. The game is in development at Aiming, Inc. Aiming developed games like Caravan Stories, Dragon Quest Tact, and co-developed World of Demons alongside PlatinumGames.
